The Extract evidence metadata operation is part of the OSINT & Digital Evidence Forensics API on BRAINIAC.software. Extract container metadata from uploaded files locally. Missing EXIF or GPS fields are not invented. It is exposed as POST /api/v1/evidence-intelligence/metadata-extract and priced at $0.04 USDC on Base. Payment uses the x402 exact scheme: an unpaid call returns HTTP 402 with payment requirements; after paying the exact USDC amount, retry the same request with a payment-signature header and Idempotency-Key. No account and no API key are required. Data sources for this product: Caller-uploaded evidence files Caller-supplied custody events and expected hashes Limitations: Files are processed only locally in the request path and are not sent to external AI or forensic services. Cryptographic hash matches verify byte integrity only, not factual authenticity. C2PA marker presence is not a factual authenticity determination. Video keyframes are taken only from caller-supplied frame files or container metadata. Missing GPS, timestamps, and provenance fields are not invented.
